How can I get support with a question about your service or an issue with my security system?
- If you need help, please call our main number (757) 559-1163 . One of our knowledgeable staff members will be happy to assist you. You can also visit our YouTube channel, which has a variety of videos that may be able to answer any questions you may have.
How can I get a quote?
- Call us at (757) 559-1163 . We’ll schedule a field visit to discuss your security needs, assess your space, and design an agreed upon solution. We’ll send you a quote for the service you require within 48 hours.
How long before my system can be installed?
- At Blue Line Security, we take pride in responding to our customers with a quick installation turnaround whether you need an emergency fix after a break-in or a simple battery replacement. We do our best to address all customer needs within a week of receiving an accepted quote.
How can I get help with operating my system?
- For help with security system operation, visit our YouTube channel if you’d rather do things yourself. We offer online remote support for anyone with our offsite maintenance package. Please call (757) 559-1163 if you would like a team member to assist you.
I already have a security system. Can I update my existing system with Blue Line?
- Yes, we can upgrade many existing security systems. Our systems are compatible with equipment made by DSC, GE Security, Interlogix, Qolsys, Honeywell and 2GIG. We offer no guarantee but can often take over an up-to-date alarm system at no charge while reducing the cost of ongoing monitoring.
How long will my agreement be?
- We offer flexible agreement terms to suit your every need, whether you’re a homeowner or living according to a short-term lease. We’re happy to work with you to find a satisfactory solution. Typically, we operate according to 36-month agreements.
How will my security system be monitored?
- For video monitoring, a live feed will be accessible from the Alarm.com app. You can use the app to configure what notifications you would like based on movement, visitors, and more. The video feed is cloud-based and backed-up for later viewing. If there is a concern or an issue, a video verifier at our nationally accredited monitoring center may be able to view the video feed to alert you or the authorities as needed.
I’m moving and want to take my security system with me. Does Blue Line offer relocation services?
- Yes, we offer relocation of products and services within our service area. If you’ve been with us for at least 24 months, relocation is free of charge for base alarm systems.
